Plate boundaries are area of geologic activity, it caused many disaster. Such as earthquake and tsunami. There are 3 type of plate boundaries,convergent boundaries, divergent boundaries and tansform boundaries.Convergent boundaries are the two plate coming together.There are also know as convergent boundaries as Subduction Zones, it is happen when one plate goes under another plate. It cause trench or volcano.There are 3 type of convergent. When continental and continental plate coming together, it cuase mountain.For example Himalayas,when oceanic and oceanic plate coming together, it cause trench. When oceanic and contiental plate coming together, it cuase volcano.divergent boundaries are two plate moving apart. there are 2 type of divergent. When continental and continental plate moving apart, it cuase rift valley. When oceanic and oceanic plate moving apart, it cuase mid ocean ridge. Transform boundaries are the plate slide another plate. These are also known as transform boundaries as faults. It almost cause earthquake. The plate move about 3 inches in every year.
Alfred Wegener first proposed the theory of continental drift. Continental drift is the slow movement described by the theory of plate tectonics.The fossil of the same kind of animals is support continental drift. In 220 million years ago,all plate are together, they all match each other.The earth are only a large of land. they call pangaea. Through a long long time, the plate slowly slowly move, they are move apart become now plate. The fossils of plateosaurus were found in both Europe&Asia and North America. The fossils of phytosaur and basalt were found in Africa,North America and Europe. The fossils of amphibian were found in India,Antatctica,South America,Africa and Australia. The fossils of rhynchosaur were found in the South America, Africa and India. There plate shape also can match together.These evidence support Alfred Wegener's continental drift.
Convection currents within the earth are a contributing cause of volcanoes, earthquakes and continental drift.Activity of Earth's rocky mantle caused by convection currents.the molten rock about and moving the plates of the Earth's surface.The rock is rising up from the bottom of the mantle after becoming hotter and less dense from the heat of the Earth's core.As the rock loses heat into the earth's crust, it becomes cooler and more dense, sinking back down to the core.there circulating of hotter and cooler molten rock are thought to help heat the surface.Convection currents are caused by the very hot material at the deepest part of the mantle rising, then cooling, sinking again and then heating, rising and repeating the cycle over and over. As we known in the lsb, the hot water and blue water,you can watch the convection currents move in the liquid.
I agree with this theory. Plate boundaries shows effect of plates.continental drift shows evidence of plaes are moving.convection currents shows reason of how plates moving.now known to be 4.6 billion years old of Earth. Also,I learn a lots important message of earthquake anf tsunami.It is very helpful for me.

1.I am very enjoy for made folder for this project.Because it is very creative.
2.I think most challenging part of me is doing the work on time.Because we spend time to research important message.
3.I learn be creative and organzie project and quickly to finish all thing on time.
4.I could improve my folder to special,because one of my folder looks a little noraml.
5.I would choose volcano to learn, becuase I don't exacly know about this topic.
